Lunch restaurants I recommend in Nerja

To find a place to eat in Nerja is not difficult and find a GOOD place to eat in Nerja is even easier!
Since my favorite beach in Nerja is La Burriana I will let you know my favorie places here:

For lunch a Paella at Ayos is must! (also possible to get it gluten free if you let them know in advance)
"Go on a Sunday and experience the traditional Spanish atmosphere with giant paella cooked over a open fire. Paella is 6 euros for as much as you can eat and there is also an a la carte menu featuring Roast Pork on a Sunday plus a wide selection of fish and meat dishes."

Our you could try the slightly fancier Chiringuito José Cruz but also with very friendly waiters and also the possibility to get gluten free food. I recommend the fish. "No trip to Nerja is complete without a trip to one of the many beachfront ‘Chiringuitos’ that offer a variety of dishes including those freshly cooked on the open BBQ. Jose Cruz offers good quality fish (Sea Bass recommended) and meats cooked to your requirements on the daily BBQ.  This restaurant has all the meats and fish displayed in a glass fridge next to the BBQ so you can select your particular choice!"

Then there is the nice and in my opinion "upperclass" restaurant for lying next to the beach almost. Nerja de Nerja (Bruxelles). It's classy with nice waiters and owners. Or as the review says: This restaurant offers French and Belgian influenced cuisine in a stylish environment. The staff are very welcoming and provide excellent service throughout the meal. The menu has a selection of meat and fish dishes, with the house mussels being the speciality and definitely worth experiencing!

Of course there are allot of more restaurants/chiringuitos along the "beach-slip" but these above are the ones I prefer.

Then the perfect place for coffee and an ice-cream or huge chocolate cake! Cafetería Heladería Tropy Sol also on  Playa de Burriana. They also have free wifi at times :-) I think this photo says it all.

On the "other side of Nerja" near Torecilla Beach there is a nice restaurant called Café Bamboo with an amazing view and good food. Also here, if telling the chef in advanced, it's possible to get gluten free food.

We have tried yet another lunch restaurant. Its way up in Capistrano Village. In the pool area of the private pool .
It just to the right when you enter the beautiful pool area.

Got a Gluten Free Salmon for my son and a really tasty lunch menu for the rest of us. Very reasonable prices.

Chillout Bar & Restaurant

Finaly I got to visit the newly renovated "Rincón del Sol" at the far end of Burriana Beach. I loved it.
I had a refreshing beer which came with some chili-olives sitting on the sofas. Listening to some really good Chill-Out music. Totally recomend it!

Then some lunch. Very nice tapas (but be carefull with the Aioli if its very
sunny)
